Noche de Rábanos (The Night of the Radishes) is an Oaxacan event held every year on December 23. You’ll see all sizes of radishes here, carved creatively to impressive imaginations. It’s a super popular event, so be there early to stand in the queue (it may take hours to get in). For us, we stood in the queue for five hours, but the wait was worth it!

Finally, I gathered some courage to walk alone around Santo Domingo church (or “Santo Dormingo” as I call it, long story 😅). I also joined a wedding calenda briefly. Though I’ve done this many times before, this was the first time I did it alone, and with my camera. I liked the experience.
