AI this and AI that. What started as a fun, productive experiment is now turning out to be a nightmare. Especially for writing.
The sickest part is that AI is almost as good, just not good enough. Every time.
So, anyone who is using it as a productivity writing hack ends up being nothing but…a hack.
It’s a great assistance tool, I tell you that. But that by itself won’t increase the writing output. You still have to put in the work.
So, when clients expect you to write faster, and better, more well-researched articles, for less remuneration, it gets to my head. Not to mention the fact that they can do it themselves too, almost.
It just ends up being AI slop.
And to stop your writing from falling into the same trap, you have to study the common AI tells.
It’s not X, it’s Y… In this age/era of XYZ, … And here’s the thing…. We’ll delve into that soon…
Well, at least it got me writing personal blogs again. At least there’s that. I intend to write at least one personal stuff every day, either here, online, in forums (Reddit, etc.), to stay grounded in writing.
I don’t want to lose one of the most precious things I enjoy doing just because a machine can copy my style and tone. I’m still me, and I have control over what goes out of here.
